About 40% of all wool comes from merino sheep, which are of the very best quality. The fibers are fine and have good shrinkage, making them feel extremely soft and resilient and hold their shape well. The wonderful properties of sheep's wool are especially pronounced in merino yarn. This quality is made from fine Australian merino wool.
